- these wouldnt be bhp/rwhp figures would they?
i heard that most figures published in owners manuals are outputs produced to the flywheel. whats everyone elses opinions?

a gemini doesnt have 60 kw
more like 60 ish hp for a 1600 sohc |

they would be sae power figures at the flywheel. sae translates to "say anything exciting" as they dyno'd the engines with open pipes and optimised the ignition curve etc |

And you'll find it's the emission controls, air pump, etc., that drop the power figure in the later models.
You'll also see that the bigger capacity motor aren't that much more powerful, but if you find the torque figures, they'll be a fair bit more. |

thanks for helping clear that up lads. i was wondering mainly cos i had no idea of what output to expect when i dynoed mine. and was disappointed when my two litre mill produced 80hp at the rears. but i guess thats not too bad for a mild setup still running standard nikki carbi.

80hp @ the wheels is actully pretty good, unless you are going with a pretty wild setup or forced induction, you cant expect much more than that from a NA 2 litre G200.
