What intercoolers have people fitted to the front of a TX (tc and td) ???
Got a gap of about 480mm wide x 300mm high to squeeze a cooler.
Been looking at GTIR coolers, but think it may be a little too tall with the piping.
What size are EVO and VR4 coolers??

Just get 2 series 4/5 RX7 intercoolers welded together probably end costing about $150 and they work brilliantly if welded well, they are made to flow well and they do. A few of my mates use this setup and I'm thinking about running it on my skyrine.

I know someone that can make me an intercooler using a truck core for roughly $150. Cost of the core is the main cost they are about $120 or so, then the tanks cost like $10 to make. Then you get set back a few hundred for piping from the cooler. Heaps less than one from another car and works just as well.

ARE made a custom one for my gem - 440 wide 400 tall 73 thick it was a dual pass cooler with outlet and inlet on the same side I think he still has pics on his website. Sadly now the cooler is doing duty in an RB20DET powered VH comonwhore

yeah, but after reading the article on the ARE site, chopped down truck intercoolers sound a bit dodgy - they would be cheap though.
