I read the article in the workshop regarding the positioning of the upper ball joints. The flats on the ball joint are to be faced inwards (towards the shock) does any one know why in the Gregory's Manual for all the Rwd models the diagram specifies it to be opposite. Is shows a ball joint with the flat facing outwards (towards the wheel).
Have many tried them slotted ball joints and how big are the slots ie; could we mill the slots in on a new set of ball joints. Who stocks them and at what price?
What other ways have people tried to get camber\caster adjustment?
Other than the Kmac pins

I know whiteline make a camber kit for about $50. Don't know if it is just offset pins like the kmac one though.

Most of the main shafts that go through the ball-joints are of a straight variety, the Gemini ones are the eccentric type. By spinning the ball-joint 180 deg, you effectively move the camber of the wheel negatively by a few deg.
Picture a steel rod peirced through a flat shet of metal, if you hold it up to view the profile of it the rod is straight and true. Now if you were to cut one half of the rod off one side of the plate and re-welded it slightly off centre to it's other half, it would be called offset or eccentric.
Someone wrote a post a fair while back stating that they performed the mod as instructed in the workshop, but they felt that it hampered the handling and increased positive camber. This may have either been a one off or the ball-joints used may have been from a bad batch. Well it's either one of those two scenarios or the person that posted the workshop article was full of B.S.
