just a question how much did you spend reconditioning your motor? where from?

dunno... it was in the car when i got it with a blown head gasket.. when i pulled it down to fix it.. i noticed that the head had tags for a reco firm(warrantee tag) and the pistons were 40" over with clearly visible hone marks in the bores(no lip either!)it costs around $1000 for a full reco 1600 depending where you go

Plus what does the factory oyster colour look like?

i live on the sunshine coast, and the factory colour is a cross between gold and and brown metallic. can deliver the car to either goldy or maryborough or out to toowoomba
