Apparantly the internals of an RB gemini will fit into a T series gem dizzy.

I just went back through the search! Fuck payin $250 for the kit when I can make one myself... Umm whats the deal with the RB dizzy? Are the internals the same as the camera? Is the ignitor modual in the RB inside the dizzy and will it only be 2 wires that come out the dizzy to hook up? It's been a while since this has been brought up so yer I might do a article on it when I have done the hard yards... By the way this dizzy is for a modified G180. Hope someone can give me some advice

Thanks

Josh

I wrote enough in the r&d to get anyone started. All 4XX1 engines with electronic dizzys have internal that fit. Yes the ignitor is in the dizzy but is pretty ordinary. A commodore ignitor is the way to go that is external.

How much was the crane cams kit? Is it an electric or solidstate conversion?

They replace the points with an optical trigger.

Sparrow said the XR700 set him back about $280
