ok the g161 head on the g200 revs harder apparently but is there anything you can do to the g200 head so it doesnt disadvantage it ie. bigger ports ? |

the g161 head wil up the compression but wont change the way the motor revs much, the early tx head had the smallest chambers. |

then theres no harm in having the g200 head shaved down a wee bit ive looked through the old forum on behalf of this swap and still dont see the upside of a g161 head if you can make the required mods to the g200 one |

Cam design
Port design
Combustion efficiency

cause g200 heads are worth more than g161 heads, so why bugger one up when u could sell it and get cheaper g161 head, air injected tg and early tx heads have bigger valves and better port design than the 200 one to. |

ive shortened the path of water channel by turning the heater hoses back through the engine not sure if itd give the g200 cooling problems as it is without having a g161 head which i hear blocks part of the water channel from the block. |
