TF or TG??? Confusing

quik question... do tf's have headlights set back a bit or are they the same as tg'? i have 'tf' ... well thats wat the plate tells me...
but ive seen tfs with head lights set back...
someone please clear this up for me? very confusing

tf are set back, tg are flush.
but alot of people do the old swap the grill and lights thing

TF geminis have the set back lights and TG's have the commodore look-alike headlights. but just remember, all the gemini front ends are inchangeable so it can sometime be difficult to see what it really is. But if your plate says its a TF, than its a TF.

Actually the fronts of either were on both cars.
The front with the one-piece, egg-crate grille and headlight surround was on the TF base model, TF SL, and TG base model. The front with the "Commodore" style lights and slat grille (like the one in the picture), was the front on the TF SL/X and the TG SL & SL/X.
So what you've got will be a TF SL/X, and should have things like

ooops... wrong button.
...things like, cloth interior with built-in rear headrests, tacho dash, colour coded exterior mirrors both sides, etc.

The fronts can be interchanged no mater what the spec level.
