How much should a fully worked 2 L isuzu reconditioned roughly cost??

standard recons at just gemi spares r round 2000, so u would b lookin at 3500 $4000 depending on how much u want it workd.

depends on the work you want done. I standard rebuild, considering the block and head are in good nick, and your only running standard gear, you can probly get it done for around $2500 (depending on labour costs). If the cylinder walls are fuct, u'll need some boring done, which, of course is an added expense, add to that the oversize pistons, rings to suit, conrods, bearings..... change one thing, change 50 things really.
If the heads ok, it'll be sent off for servicing, but if its fuct it may require welding, shaving, re-valving, etc etc etc.
gaskets costs are unbelevable too. a full set for some cars can cost $600... dunno bout gemini kits, they shouldnt be fuck all tho. and of course u can get cheap ones and expensive ones with up to $75 difference in prices.

so if u go all out, u could be spending $4500....
just make sure you get quotes and shit first....
and ALWAYS get an engine builder to do it, not just ur avg mech. engine builders do those lil extras that'll make it last 5x longer than avg joe mechanic.
