hey i did a search for the tacho dash install and was wondering wat size tacho u guys used and where u guys bought them form any help would b much appriciated

If ur talkin about the 3 3/4 tacho's then u can get them from autobarn, marlows, supercheap basically ne auto shop.
costs vary i think depending what brand and shit ya get.

i've seen someone do it before with one of those 50 dollar cheapies from supercheap. does the job fine. lines up in the cluster well too, you just have to disassemble the casing that it sits in.

If you want a tacho that looks factory stock in your TX-TC-TD, do this.

Get a tacho out of a GD-model Chrysler Galant (circa 1977). It's a VDO unit and you'll notice the gauges are set out exactly the same as the early Geminis, just the actual dash itself is different.

It can be sectioned in really easily. If you have an instrument cluster with a blank or then you're glass won't have a hole in it for the clock setting knob so you're set. If you have a clock in your stock dash, you'll need to change the glass to one with a whole like that described above.

It is indistinguishable from the real thing.
