gday just a question....would a complete dash from a TG gem fit in a TE gem?? if not, is it possible to cut out the shit AM radio without fucking around with the air controls n stuff so that a new head unit could be put in that place? |

Umm from what i've heard TE dashes wont fit into the TG's so i guess it's the same for ur case. "cut out the shit AM radio"?? why the hell would u wanna cut it out? try taking it out first usually not such a hard task if ur dont want the am radio try not to damage ya dash tho.

yeah a tg dash can be put in a te. its a cunt of a job though. you have to cut along the window of the tg and weld it into the te, change centre consol mounts, change heater box, change stearing column, and change all wiring for the tg instrument cluster.
yes you can take the am radio out, its a simple job. pull knobs off the radio undo the 2 bolts behind the knobs, pull the knobs off the heater switches, then pull out the black backing plate. radio has a couple of screw holding it in. to put a cd player you will have to cut the hole bigger (doesnt interfere with the heater switches though) |

forgot one thing theres a bolt at the back of the am which is a cunt to get to its right int hte middle either this or my mate was just unlucky and his had one |
