My daily has had a smashed window for quite a while and was taped up with a piece of plastic over it. Now that the window has been replaced there is a lot of sticky crap stuck to the paint around the window. What could be used to remove this without damaging the paint?

if its the original paint safest to just use some metho, from memory metho doesn't remove acrylic, and should take the glue off from the tape
