well, i just fitted a new trimatic to my sisters car, and it drives heaps better. but when i back off the accelerator, the car dies. i dont know whats goin on. im guessing its flooding itself. could it be because i had the car on ramps for nearly a week?
plz help! |

| did u hook up the cruise wire to the auto and check the wiring to the carby this happened to my gf car but hers is manual |

Not sure at all, but i've read posts of an idle stop solenoid. Could this be disconnected ?? A quick search might find the info on this part, but then again that may not be your problem - but it is a thought none-the-less.
