Has anyone ever made their doors out off fiberglass?

i couldnt believe how heavy they were 2day...
i recon it would make a big difference too take off and stopping, because off how much lighter the car would be.

the car has a curb weight of around 900kg's so it aint really that heavy, there is alot of shit in the doors which makes them heavy, take out the winder mechanism, the glass, the rails the window runs on, the stoppers at the bottom, mirrors, handles, and the catch they are pretty bloody light man, its just the crap in them, if you didn't want windows, and you wanted your doors welded shut they would be light as.
