i got defected for the following
Brake light out - fixed
Too Low - already re cut springs so it a bit higher but still no standard
Frayed seatbelts - have to buy brand new ones
bald tyres - fixed
and oil in my engine bay,
with this they missed like 5 other things, im getting my new exhaust next week at exhaust tech...
i have a hole in my floor the size of a fist near the brake pedal... and with my suspension i raised in an inch higher than it was and it was hard enough getting those spings compressed to that size, add an extra 2 or so inches to the springs again and i wont be able to get em in... ball joints and tie rod ends need replacing. ive got em jut have to put em in and also the is rust in my boot floor and spare tyre well, so this is too much for me to fix and i only work at maccas so cash flow isnt that great as you would gather...what did you get defected for??? When the cop got me it took him 25 min to find a frayed passanger seat belt and the passanger seat moved to much for his liking..
so on the following monday i took it straight to regency and they got me for
frayed seat belt drivers side
rust in the chassis and floor pasanger side
steering rack
child restrant not visable
ignition key pulls out when car running
and 16 inch rims (not engineered)so im looking for 17s so I can engineer them..
Trust me mate it hurt the hip pocket in total to fix and take through twice $726.00..
regency alone
first time $65
second time $47.50
seat belts $66.30 each (trade)
rust $100
stockie wheels and tyres $200
New rebuilt rack $155 (JUST GEMINI) Thanks steve
second hand ignition (sponsored JUST GEMINI) thanks steve
plus other little bullshit things befor going there..
just book it in and let regency go to town on it cause you never pass the first time round, then you only have to fix what they find and dont go there with a attitude its not them that sent you there just remember that there pretty top blokes there..
CHEERS MATE
and good luck |

You might as well go and see what they actually find. You may be suprised. and as IDAREU2 said once you have gone through once on the 2nd go they can't pick you up for any thing else only recheck what they found the first time. |
