Hey poeples,
i was wondering if everyone had wired up a monster tacho to a tx gemini. the tx didnt come with a tachometer... so i went out and got one, ne help would be

White - Lights+
Black - Earth ( - )
Red - Power
Green (i think) - goes to the negative(-) side of the coil
None of the other wires are used, im pretty sure it is the green, there are other orange and grey ones on mine but its for setting it up on different engines (vee 6 & 8's or rotaries) four cylenders only need 4 of the wires |

you should have got a woring diagram when ya bought ya tacho, i just fitted my monster tacho in my TG and its working nicely. in my gem i set it up so that
Red - Meter fuse (in car)
White - Tail light fuse (engine bay fuses)
Green - coil Negative
Black Battery Negative
with that setup you cant go wrong mate... |
