Hey guys, just a quick question i know most of the G series engines are pretty much same in size. But wanted to make sure that this wasn't of any difference. I'm plannin to put my g161 timing case onto my 2 litre because i had a front end accident and cracked the timing case. I don't wanna have the hassle of hunting a 2 litre timing case if the g161 can go straight on. what do you's think or know about this?
cheers guys

Get the crack cut out with a miller if u are allowed to use them in your state and then get it TIG welded up. Make sure ya clean it heaps before ya take it into get welded. I hate it when people bring stuff into work to be welded and it has oil and shit over it!
