would people be interested in rear disk brake conversion kits?? how much would u pay?

VL gear.
brand new disks, axel bearings and re sealed calapers.
(would be sold as a whole diff)

I think hoppers stoppers were lookin into it too after i told em how easy it was, i'm sure you'd get a fair bit of interest if you started sellin em, save people the hassle of makin shit up. How much would you be sellin em for??? Just out of interest...

You should think about making a whole kit up. Front and rear disk brake set.

i can get fronts made up for $450

dunno how much i would sell the rear for. it would have to be the whole diff (cos of the spigots on the axels)

would be a fair bit more than front i would asume...

would this vl setup be roughly the same way that you would do a vn disk brake rear conversion. I need a full vn disk brake setup made for the 3.8l so it can be enginneered. Would u b able 2 work sumthin out maybe and i can pay u 4 it? what would be invloved? whats parts etc and rough cost it would be for u to set it all up on my gem.

vl and vn brakes are teh same.
why do u NEED vn?? why cant u use vl?

im in bris.. your in SA (i think)

Speak to hoppers stoppers, theyre just north of melb at hoppers crossing, they were looking into making a kit, peters the man to talk to, if they use your car as a prototype you'd probably get it done fairly cheap, especially if you supplied the VK/VL diff.

by going down too the local wreckers, (or the private wrecking in the trader) and pick up a few rear disks off a VN, redrill em' and bolt em up too your existing diff & plug in the existing brake lines?

or is there more too it? :S

Its been stated in the R&D section quite a few times, we did it ourselves, very simple, read that section and ask if you have any extra Qs?
