anyone had a cam made buy him? and had any troubles with lobes wearing away?
a mate bought a billet for his 2.6L, pulled the head down and noticed he had no lobes left. 1000km done at the most |

| I know of heaps of people that run TIGHE cams and have never had a problem. I've had one in mine for about 6 months now and havent had a problem. |

This might sound stupid but....
what the fuck do you mean when you say running the cam in? is it like running the engine in and bedding the rings in (taking it easy on the engine etc) or do you follow some other set procedure?

| yeah, the cam was run in. he done a fare amount of driving in it, then the thing started driving like a pig. pulled the head off, had a look, relized he had lobes left |
