Whats the most horse power anyones seen/heard of comming from a 4?

Someone could have easily eclipsed this (especially in the JGTC scene where 600ps isnt uncommon) but the most i've seen on a dyno print out was 411KW @ rear wheels. From an SR20DET with a T51R-SPL turbs and frighteningly NO NITROUS !!! It was encased in a RPS13 180SX. Power delivery was extremely 'peaky', still made 250KW+ under 4000rpm, but became a sledghammer after 5500rpm. Not streetable in traffic, but on the highway was another story.
I forget the exact figures, but Matty Spry from here in S.E QLD made approx 400hp @ rear wheels. Thats near smack bang on 300KW @ the rears and all from a 2.6 4ZE1 that was lifted from a commercial.

1043 hp's? that was the HKS drag car wasnt it? 180SX from memory.

The JUN Hyper Lemon R S15 had something like 600ps, and that was detuned for reliability reasons. Something about fanging an SR20 around a race track @ 7000rpm for an hour must cause reliability issues, hehehe as it would.

I think some of the 4 cyl rail cars have more than that??
Cant remember exactly though...
