I went the 32/36 DGAV from a 2-litre Escort/Cortina engine and extractors and a 2" exhaust and now my car does the quarter mile in 10.2.

Actually, not really - but the changes are worth it (if you don't mind being defected when the cops see the 'non-standard induction system' (read: carby)).

The car will breath a lot better and rev a lot cleaner too. Don't get extractors without a 2" exhaust (or bigger, but 2" is substantial enough for such a small modification - any bigger will adversely affect performance).

I dunno what it costs. Carby could be $20, $50 or $200 depending on who you buy it from and what condition it is in. It may need to be rejetted or something to suit your engine. Extractors are about $300-$400 now and an exhaust should be $150-300 - again depending on who you see and how good you want it to be.

I guess you question is a bit like "how long is a piece of string". |

				| In QLD you're allound to change the carby/induction system to anything you like as long as it still meets emissions standards |
