I got a leter in the mail last week saying that I have to go get me exhaust dB tested! Fuck!! Just wonderinf if anyone knows wether I should take my lumpy cam and extractors off for the test or just leave them on??

shove steel wool in ya muffler, with a bit of luck they dont rev it past 4500RPM
when ya leave after passing the db test, rev the guts out of it and out comes a flaming pile of steel wool and up goes the db back to where it should be!

If not, dont worry, if so, why not get a hot dog or some other non-restrictive resonator put it. |

Hey,
i read on some website that on a VL (not a gem i no) with a 3` exhaust and 1 muffler it lost 20hp by putting on a resonator because of the turbulance they cause? I would just wack on the stock one? then put yours back on when the test is over. just a thought

just get a nice hi flowing straight thru muffler at the back
got 2 straight thrus and extractors on my wagon and it sounds awesome but aint to loud
sounds like a wrx at idle  |
