i might be swapping my TE for a TX coupe but i am allowed to keep a few of the goodies on my car. one of them is the extractors and exhaust system. will a 2" TE exhaust setup fit under the TX? or are they different underneath?

not entirely sure but yes
the floorpan on the imported '75 tx are different. Dont think it will make a whole lot of difference depends entirely on how the exhaust was designed.
the floorpan on the imported TX is flat both sides, you will notice on the TE the passanger side has a raised bit to accomodate the exhaust and other shit
extractors will be a bolt up fit but you might wanna look out for the EGR (pollution) shit on your.... no wait, its going onto a TX, dont worry the TX dosnt have the pollution shit so you should be sweet |
