models and years

hey guys,
i'm thinking of buying my first gemi in a few months, but in the trader they just often list years instead of models, so if someone could briefly list what model = what year that'd be awesome.

also, when was the first FWD gemi? just so i can avoid it.

first FWD was 85. i think that the tx was 77 and than they go up in letters like c,d up to G and there roughly 2 years apart of something like that

the one u say u dont want is the rb its an 85 but the tg is an 85 model too but is rear wheel drive.

i got a 85 model TG, watch out for rb's, they start may 85 or sumfin onwards & they r gay.

just a correction, the tx started in 76. tx to td all look similar. from te to tg all look the same as well except the headlights and grills and a few other things are different. i say go the earlier models if you can get one in good nik cos they go harder.

Why do you say you have an 85 TG? Does the compliance plate say 85, cos Ive never seen one beyond 84.

Just a correction to your correction. TX's started in 75, NOT 76.

going on what has been said previously, less pollution gear and all that crap and they are lighter....going on what i've been told so don't quote me on that
