Ben,
I seem to remember you saying in a post a while back that if someone's jets weren't 140/175 140/165 then you'd be interested to find out what they were?

Well I just took my weber apart pending a rebuild on monday, and my jets are 140/165 and 135/160.

I have no idea where these jets came from, as the carby and jets were already on it when I bought the car.

And for anyone else who is interested, you can buy jets from Akses on Norman St in East Brisbane, they are $4 each.

Forgot to ask, these jet sizes would (to me, an uneducated fool) seem to make the mixture rich yes?

Would this be a contributing factor to my TE not going as well as it should (its exactly the same speed (neck and neck down 1/4 mile) as my friends 1600 Corolla, stock, with no weber or extractors, like my gemi does).

Assuming you have a 32/36 DGV, then the primary jetting is a bit rich, should be 140/175, the 165 air corrector will richin it up a bit. The secondary jetting you have is slightly lean compared to standard, so at WOT, it probably all evens up.

These $4 jets, are all sort of sizes, for both main and air correctors, I would be interested in getting some.
