Who knows their Gemini wire colours

does any body know what colour the wire is at the ignition for the acc wire? oh, on a 1980 TF gemini.

it is supposed to be red. but mine is blue. pick a wire and hit metal. with key on. if sparks, theres the wire. oh and i got a tf 2

ahh but is it blue at the center consol or blue right behind where you put the keys in. coz that is where i want to tap into it to run a wire to the center consol.

go to big w or any auto shop and get yourself a circuit tester it looks like a pen with a wire coming off the end and a globe in the middle...

attach the wire to an earth (anywhere on the car thats metal, like a bolt or something) and then touch the wires with the other end

turn the ingition barrel to ACC and then touch wires if the globe lights up then u probably have a ignition wire, to make sure, take the key out and test the wire again, if the light goes off then its definatly and ignition wire if not then its a constant from the battery

simple enough

gee thats just great martin, i already have a test pencil but if you had of read my question i was asking if anyone knew the wires colour, so that i wouldn't have to go through and test everysingle one.
