How much u got to spend?
1) Weber, adapter and decent air filter can be had for around $150
2) Extractors and some minor exhaust work for around $200-300
3) Electronic ignition for a little more poke and reliability. Rodeo elec ignition wires up straight away. Just bypass the ballast.
So for around $500 you can have a bunch of useful and useable mods which will make a big difference.
Don't bother doing any wanky visual rice boy mods. You'll get laughed at by the Hyundai boys with their plastic bits, especially considering a stock Lancer or Hyundai will blow a stock Gemini into the weeds.

this is what i have on one of my tg as far as bolt on things go
32/36 webber and adapter plate: cost me $80
really lumpy cam: $50
extractors: $70
made the exhaust my self 2 in through
home port job
already had a big valve head on it reseated the valves my self
its really not expensive to do engine mods if you dont mind getting down and dirty
