Window winders/Door handles

I'm fixing up my interior on my td. The drivers window winder mechanism is snapped so I've got a new one of them. Is it possible to change the chrome winder to something different? Does anyone know any that will fit.

Also I was wondering if it is possible to replace the inside door handles (the ones you pull to open the door, not the arm rests) to something more modern. The original ones are rare as hens teeth apparently so something newer seems a better option. Any ideas and most importantly will it work ?

I'm going to search the wreckers tomorrow for some stuff so much appreciated if you can help me out.

there is a plastic winder in the later models tf or tg i think,
b4 you go to the wreckers measure the distance between the 2 screws and then size up the rest of them
