I'm currently repainting the front wing on my gem. I'm not going for show quality but just looking to tidy it up a bit.
I'm just gonna do it with a can and take my time sanding between coats and doing everything right so it should turn out neat enough. A lot better than the previous paintbrush primer and spray on top job that was on before.
So far I've filler primed, rubbed and primed it again. Its straight as and looking smooth as silk. Ready for paint.
I've got a couple of cans of gloss white (acrylic lacquer.. i think) for the top coat.
Now due to it being winter is there a problem with the air not beign hot enough to let the paint dry properly and provide a nice finish. I've got a fairly small shed so I was thiking of just firing up a radiator in there for a while before I started spraying to warm up the air.
Is this worth the effort or should I just spray it cold?
I know I shouldn't be spraying a panel with cans, but its only a quick fix up job and I reckon I can get an OK finish from it. |

You dont want a show job and your spraying it with cans. i dont think its really going to make much difference what the temp is like. |
