What pollution gear????
seriously tho, just the egr setup and all the pcv hoses hooked up and looking intact.
and a standard carby.
if any wanker says there should be an air pump, tell them to get fucked, and go to someone who knows what there doing.

Air injection only came out with the TF/G.
You need to have the pipe from the EGR valve hooked up to the exhaust manifold.
But these days, the gem is so old, most mechanics dont enforce it, cos they cant remeber back that far, so mums the word when you go in and dont have it connected. |

And therin my problem lyes. I think i have an earlier model inlet/carby. Pulled it down today, i dont have the EGR vale componentry. I gather my 79 TE is meant to have this. It is unclear in my manual, as they dont differentiate between each model, just TEs in general. They show pollution gear, but dont say whether its form a 79 TE or an 82 TE..
