i just brought my gem home (bought it this morning) and on the papers it says it's 1983 but i am dead certain it's a te and it came with te owners manual. was there ever an 83 te made? i thought tf took over in 82????? let me know

| TE's went from 1979 to 1982 maybe the RTA stuffed up when it was made? Check your plates in the engine bay it will tell you which mode your car is, the plate closest to the passenger window should say TE or TF. |

was kinda trying to avoid going outside as it is cold and wet and there's shit everywhere in my engine bay coz i pulled everything apart but since checking i have found that it is indeed a tf but just has a front end i normally associate with a te
