yeah...

ok i think i've just raided every single picture of a gem in the galleries, and no one has done a CA-18DET into their gem with pictures... there are G180 twin cam turbo's, that's about the closest thing i found... there's a draw thru carby set-up, a piazza or two, a 350 chev !! and Jordan's FJ-20 ... but i wanna see some pics of a CA 18 !!!

anyone got any or know of any other site on the net with pics of a CA-18 in a gemini ???

Michael, I suspect there is a more sensible reason for the dash conversion, the silvia uses an electronic speedo, the cheapest way to get this working in a gemini (if you bought an S13 halfcut) would be to use the silvia gauges.

The CA18 may run an electronic sensor on the dash side to read input, but I dont see why you cant hook up a Gem speedo cable to the CA18 box (it will fit), and pick up the revs as normal. If it reads the revs off the rear part of the mainshaft (as do most boxes), it should be accurate.
