Hey everyone. Is there an easier way than removing the steering column to remove the starter motor from a TG gem? and how much is a good price for a G200 head? I saw one at a swap meet this morning for $150.

Dont worry. I just undid an engine mount and jacked up the motor to push in the starter motor. Bitch of a job though. Maybe a good idea to put a starter motor change in the workshop section?

use a socket on a really long extension to get the top bolt and get under the car with the same socket without the extension to remove the lower one. if your tg still has the adr pollution crap remove it at once as it is robbing u of precious horsepower, and just plug up the holes left. that stuff tends to make getting to the bolts harder. or better still use a early type inlet manifold as it doesn't have the pipes and crap.
cheers
