Does anyone know if i lower my car by 2inches, is it still legal for a rwc. and if it is, is it fine for insurance. |

rwc is fine, as long as u dont shop the springs, and same with insurance, just claim you got it that way, + if it passes rwc there is nothing insurance can do to say the car is un road worthy |

the road clearence of a motor veiclemust not be less then 100mm measured at any part of the veicle other then the wheel rim or brake backing plate.[this does not apply where a lesser clearence has been specified by the manufacturer.]

i thought it was 100mm from the lowest point and/or 45mm from the bumpstops to there bottom out position???? (this excludes the exhorst in anyway)

i got that info from the book that qld dep of transport puts out.
it also says the suspension travel in the bump or rebound mode must not be altered by more then 1 thirdof that specified by the manufacturer.
