I have a TE gemini, ive just got it back to my place, how can i tell if its a 1600 or an 1800?? Is an 1800 just a stroked 1600?? what did TEs come stock with, 16s or 18s.

look on the right handside of the block
1600 have g161 on them
1800 have g180 |

And the only engine to be put into Australian Geminis other than the 1800cc deisel, was the 1600. |

Where does a 1600 motor have the G161 stamped? |

Directly under the No.1 runner on the inlet manifold.
