I'm new to modifing stuff, and I just tried to put a weber carburetter on.
I can get the thing to start and go but then it just fades out and stops.
Does anyone know how to fit one on properly, and could they please tell me!?!?! |

| Its an old dgav, with a manual choke. But I wasn't going to use the choke anyway. |

Could be part of the problem. Until the car's had a chance to warm up a bit, unless you keep your foot on the accelerator to keep the revs up, it'll start but then die. With a choke setup, it automatically opens the throttle slightly to increase the revs on start-up, and closes off the venturies/airways a bit to increase fuel richness mixture. Once it's warm, it doesn't take much to keep it going so the choke's not needed.
Mind you, it's very hard to diagnose something like this without more details. Hope this helps anyway.
