has any one done this? a few people told me that the extra compression will give me a bit more go but im not sure. i just want my car to be relyable and i couldnt be fucked going to shell servos to get optimax every time i want to fill up.
what are the numbers stamped on the heads which have the bigger valves`? |

Go to the workshop section on this site, it has a bit of info on this subject. You will probably still want to use Optimax if your raising your compression to a decent level as well as it's cheap insurance against pinging on high compression engines.
Also use the search function to get hold of the numbers stamped on the heads.
