It's Possible just, get in contact with your local performance turbo shop and have a chat, for $2500 thou you may be best looking at getting a second hand turbo setup and hoping for the best, or getting a decomp plate for your current engine depending what state it is in, gettting manifolds, fuel pumps, computer and pipe work done with an intercooler if the budget still has any room,
Good luck
I spend the below rough figures
G161 lot's of work low comp, $2000
Straight LPG & GRA $1400
Turbo GT25 $1500
Pipe work & intercooler $1000
Brake upgrade $ 200
Tough clutch & 5spd $1000
9 inch diff LSD $2000
not all this was in a week thou but as you can see $2500 does nto go far,
Cheers,
