Ok my mate has a gemini
He doesnt know to much about cars, but this is what hes passed onto me and I want people to give him some advice.
His car has all new heater hoses and there is no sign of leaking anywhere, the car is overheating when he drives it for more then say 30mins, and then he has to top it up again, there is no bubbles in the radiator, no mist coming out of the exhaust, and hes usuing an overflow bottle??

could it simply be a fucked cap?

Buy a new cap for like $5 and find out if it is the cap. It could be the neck of the radiator has been slightly damaged and the cap (and no other cap) is not making a seal.

I had about 4 new caps in one year until I sorted that out.
