ill take a guess...
red: ignition
blue: battery (?)
black: ground
red+brown: right speaker
blue+yellow: left speaker
due to the fact that most if not all geminis have been fucked with by more likely more than one auto elect. in its lifetime not to mention how many head units some cars have been through i tend to take no responcibility for what ive just guessed, and look forward to being corrected

I won't comment on the original post, but in one of my brother's three sucessive TE geminis (all comprehensively destroyed, he drives by braille... badly!) had the following wiring
Black - power
Black - earth
Black - front left speaker
Black - front right speaker
Black - rear left speaker
Black - rear right speaker
Black - ignition
Red - another eart
Yellow - another power
Red - previously fitted then removed power aerial
Black with a white tracer - another set of wires for the front right speaker
Black with a red tracer - another set of wires for the front left speaker
Green (and about 9 other wires) - unknown |

Blue should be for ignition and red shouiild be for battery. Are you sure about those other colours? There should be (in a TG at least) Blue+red wire for the left speaker and Brown+Yellow for the right speaker. Just use the balance on the stereo to check the correct sides arfe wired up. |
