Guy and if applicable chicks. I am in desperate need of new rings and bearings for me tf 1.6ltr isuzu motor or i need a price for a recon 1.6 ltr with NO OIL LEAKING  i am gettin so sick of having to top up my oil in me gemmy its like every hour i am toping it up again cause she will run dry in about 1 hr man ..

Don't know about a new engine, but if you're up to it you could change the rings yourself. A set of top quality chrome moly rings is about $60 or so, and therefore I guess would save you some cash, if you have the time to do the work yourself.
You just have to make sure that the piston bores are in good condition. |

best bet iz to buy a re-ring kit AFTER you pull the motor down and find the size of relevant rings/bearings b4 ordering your kit.... and use gasket goop!!!!
