paint jobs

who has had a decent paint job done and can tell me how much it costs to get done professionaly? and with some decent paint.
If i prepare the panels how mauch can i save?

i had mine done 12 months ago cos me $500 in paint thats it! and the whole car is covered in air brush art!!
ohh but it helps if ya mates with a air brush artest!! eheheh

Show quality mind you so i didn't mind spending that bit extra....
No but seriously you'd wanna be looking at 4K plus for bare metal, proper job, rust removal and engine bay.

Does your dad do this kind of work??? Yes Mike Cola told all about DA Family and how many panel beaters he knew.
Would you be able to manage a decent paint job for 3k.
ps i am really not fussy
