nah bullshit, thats just crap marketing numbers.
Even the huge fuck off 170dB systems use "only" about 2kW of amps and shit.
Where did you get that number from??
And where the hell would you find an amp to make that sort of power anyway???? |

And they are 6x9's!!!! "complete with 1700W tweeters" hahaha, sorry bro but thats just funny.
That would have to be the biggest load of marketing shit Ive ever seen. Are you sure that its not 1700W PMPO cause PMPO doesnt mean shit. And for under $200?? |

I agree that bass doesnt get altered by the fuel tank, bt how sick would it look to modify a GTI or simmilar back seat to fit and lay it down to display the subs! that was my only motivation when i was looking into it. |

True, nearly 140dB is damn impressive, but i still found no mention of 1700W. Where does it say 1700W? Thats a fuckin heap of power. About 140 amps at 12V!! you could start your gem with that much current!!!! |

Why not just modify a gemini seat? Fill the voids in the back up with expanding foam or something, cover it with fabric to match the interior and then work out a hinge for the bottom edge and clips at the top. |

I did read about them on a car audio australia forum.
They were in a huge box (2cubic ft from memory)and were pumped with 1700wrms to give the spl reading. They are not designed to handle this continuously, but was a one off to see how much spl 6x9's could give. Apparantly they did survive the 1.7Kw?? |
