hi i was jus wondering if a 1800 head would fit on a 1600 engine? iv heard of ppl putting 1600 heads on the 1800's but never vice versa.. im asking coz i hav a 1800 with a stage 2 cam n all this other shit dun 2 it..

Its my understanding that people do the 1600 onto 1800 head swap to bump up static compression. Dunno why with a worked 1800 head you want to go DOWN in engine capacity. Correct me if im wrong but will this head fit on a G200 block?? THAT would be the shit.

apparently the combustion chambers on the 1600 and 1800 heads are the same so it shouldnt make any difference if you swap between the two. And yeah, they do bolt on to a 2ltr for big compression except for a few centermeters of water jackets that dont quite line up.. meh.. or you can use a g200 head on a 1600 for real low compression with a turbo.
