hey champs,
ive been reading old forum about lsd and would like to put one in my car. Someone said that the VB253v8 had an lsd that can go on the gem. obviously it needs shortening but has any one done this conversion and did the suspension all hook straight up? |

I think there's an LSD centre that'll go into the gemini diff, you just need a custom tailshaft |

All you need is a centre out of a VB-VC V8 and have your crown wheel put on to that. These models came out with a smaller LSD centre than the later. Only other thing to look out for is the spline for the axles. |

As far as I know, some 6 cylinders had LSD's, from which, you can yank the lsd centre out and get it fitted to the gemini diff. There might be a bit of machining of the housing required, but far easier than getting another diff installed as you can keep your suspension setup.

the commodores that had lsd were half a inch bigger so if yopu could grind out the gemini diff which is the same size as the commodore six cylinder diff it would in theory fit
as the lsd commo optoin wasw gu7 i think and the gemi has a gu8 option |
