The relative slowness of the site since the changes would be due to the shift in server. Joe was forced to move HotGemini to a server in the US (is this correct?), therefore all our traffic must go over to the US, even if we are all local to Oz.
From what I have experienced so far, whether it is because of increased tension around the world, or traffic, the net has had moments of extreme slowness.
An ideal situation would be to host HotGemini in Oz, would help the speed matters methinks.
I wish I could help in that respect, I am working on it Joe  |

Yes, hotgemini.com now sits on a server in Freemont California. I moved it because traffic costs in Australia are so high!
I've actually found the site to be faster myself although I get mixed reports from others. What ISP do you use CJ? |

| I have always found it pretty slow, there are moments where it is faster though. I am on Telstra cable, at TAFE they are with ozemail and it is just as slow/fast. |

| I find it pretty fast im on 1.5mbit adsl and its quite good |
