You shouldn't have to keep loging in if you don't want to, just don't click logout and you will stay logged in for 1 week since your last post.

did you change your username to be something easier to remember?

I am wondering if Gene has cookies disabled?

I just noticed a strange behaviour while checking if you are actually using cookies (in Nutscrape).
I was logged in using IE, so I opened a new Nutscrape window and logged into the forum.
I logged in fine in NS, however IE then lost its session and now IE won't login at all, yet here I am in NS.
Hmmm.

I can understand why you would limit the login on the server side, if you are doing this. But that shouldn't affect things the way they were. I also noticed that it wanted to set the cookie again when I went to reply to your post.

No gripes, just thought I would let you know Smile

Very observant Smile yes I use cookies and the cookie is refreshed every time you login or post a message (new or reply) as you found out

also there is only one login allowed per user at a time so if you logged in in netscape then your IE session will become invalidated, there should be no problemm logging back in in IE though, of course then the netscape session will then be invalidated.

I take it you're not a netscape fan either Smile
