go to ampol and get manual transmission fluid
also to make it easier to put it in, take the whole gearstick out and pour it down the hole

Manual transmission fluid is wrong for Isuzu boxes.. The manual says SAE 30 engine oil.. I use Penrite HPR30.

SAE 30-40 is specified in the Gregory's manual, this is a mono-grade oil not multi-grade. It's viscosity doesn't vary much with temp changes, and is recommended due to gearbox temps not varying all that much.
HPR30 should be o.k but may be a little on the thick side. But i've also read in other forums that people have used a standard 25/50 multi-grade in their boxes for years, without any detrimental side effects.
So SAE 30-40 if u want to play it by the book, or a standard multi-grade (such as HPR30 20/60) if the 30 isnt available. As long as one of the viscosity grades is as close the 30 as possible, she should be sweet.
