i guess the disk could be drilled and threaded 9 tims and u can just bolt either the 4 or the 5 stud hub to it.. that maybe what he menas?? _________________

the hubs have 9 holes. simply put the studs where u need them.
they are ventelated, and slotted.
single pot calipers (VL's never had twin pot)
unsure of disk size. there are either 290 or 320mm, but as i said im not sure. go check the dba catalogue, it should have it in there |

VL turbos have twin piston calipers not single that is why they are a common upgrade |

VL Turbos and V8's had a single piston, full floating caliper that was based on a caliper used by Corvettes. The major difference is the rotor is 1" bigger in diameter so the calipers mounting bracket is 1/2" longer to accomodate this. It's also the reason you have to run 15's on a Commodore with this brake conversion. It's a common conversion on Commodores because the caliper was used on all VL Turbo, VL, VN and VP V8's, VN & VP V6's optioned with FE2, and was standard on VR and VS's, and is a direct bolt-on swap using new rotors. Multi piston calipers were only a rare option on HSV's from VN, (although more common in later models), and factory from VT. |
