| has any one tried a 350 holley on there gem if so what did it go like.and ive found out you can get a 4 barrel manifold for gem engine what do you guys reacon,390 4 barrel holley? by the way has anyone got a g180 or g200 engine to suit rebuild in tassie |

| I have a holley guide here and the 180 is suitable up to 2.6L. So stick with one of these. |

| there are a coupe of guys using them but try a 34adm or even twin carbs. |

| im taiking about a very series engine here,small holley wont be enough at the drags, i think any thing smaller then a 350 holley will make the car run ot of power in the top end thats why i was thinking about a 390 4 barrel holley. |

Try this formula
(CID multiply by RPM) divided by 3456=CFM
CID=engine capacity in cubic inches
RPM=maximum RPM
CFM=Size of carby needed |

350 and 390 are only the airflow ratings of the carbs and holley do a HUGE range of replacement internals such as booster venturis, main metering jets, powervalves etc. However 390 is probably the biggest you should go.
Dont listen to em, it IS possible to run it right, you just have to know how to build em!

| yeh a 390 with decent jets and powervalves would be perfect for high rev applications. |
