unbolt the 4spd and bolt up the 5 spd.


its simple

disconnect battery
pull pull starter motor off
unbolt the other 6 or so gearbox bolts
take out the shifter
unbolt the 4 tailshaft bolts and slide tail shaft out
put a jack under gearbox
unbolt the 4 gearbox mount bolts
slide gearbox out

if ya want to know what actuall gear box you can put in, go for the rodeo 5sp, can't gop wrong mate, botls straight in

One point...
in a TG you should have a fine output spline if it's the original box. Make sure the box you intend installing is also a fine spline. If your 4spd is not original check it first. Just quickly remove the tailshaft and you can see straight away.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If using a Rodeo box you may need to remove the speedo driven cog and replace it with the one from your 4spd box. If the rear ratio is different then it won't match your speedo cog. Same applies if the 5spd is from a Gemini diesel car.
